Bronx Hot Sauce is a partnership among GrowNYC, Chef King Phojanakong, and Small Axe Peppers. Serrano peppers were chosen for their delicious flavor and suitability to New York City's climate and soil type. Small Axe donates serrano peppers to Grow NYC's community gardens in the Bronx, then buys their ripened peppers for a premium price at harvest time. This buy-back model keeps production local and provides direct support to the community gardens and gardeners. Ingredients are Serrano peppers, apple cider vinegar, garlic, onion, sugar & salt. 5 ounces. Made in New York.
