This document is an introduction and resource handbook about quality lighting and energy efficient solutions for New York City projects. Its basic goal is to assist designers and project manager personnel to understand the current energy codes and meet or exceed them with appropriate and creative designs. The guidelines are addressed to all the participants in projects for the New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC)- administrators and managers from DDC; architects and their consultants; and construction managers. Quality and energy efficient lighting must be fully integrated with the overall design process, and planned in conjunction with daylighting strategies. 123 pages. 8 1/2" x 11". Spiral bound.
